Offered support
The scholarship program fully covers tuition fees for a standard duration of study. Also, it provides monthly allowance for accommodation and other expenses for the period of studies (300 €/month).

The programme may cover an 8-month (October - May) of Intensive Slovak Language Course at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

Submission of applications
Every applicant must submit his/her application to one of the following universities/faculties:
  • Comenius University in Bratislava - www.uniba.sk (Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics; Faculty of Medicine)
  • University of Economics in Bratislava - www.euba.sk (Faculty of National Economy)
  • Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava - www.stuba.sk (Faculty of Civil Engineering)
Application form and supporting documents
Every applicant must submit an application to one of the aforementioned universities/faculties. Please, do not forget to attach all the required documents and pay attention to the application deadlines (for more details, please, consult the respective university/faculty).

ATTENTION! Although the application may be filled electronically, it must always be sent by regular post! Applicants cover all the application fees themselves.

After the successful admission procedure, some faculties have entrance examinations or other forms of selection (for more details, please, consult the respective university/faculty).

Applicants need to wait for the admission results from the respective university/faculty.

Selection procedure
After the applicant will be accepted to the university/faculty, his/her data will be automatically transferred to the Penta Foundation.

The donor selects 10 - 15 students on basis of the following criteria:
  • two rounds of online interviews;
  • previous academic records of the applicant;
  • relevant academic, career and social activity of the applicant;
  • endorsement letters and certificates provided;
  • recommendations from the selection comission of the host university/faculty.

Please, note that the donor reserves the right to award fewer scholarships, if specified criteria are met by less than the exptected number of applicants.
