Action Austria - Slovakia shall pay the costs for the language school, which include:
  • tuition
  • accommodation and board (3 meals a day)
  • cultural field trip in selected regions of Slovakia
  • other extracurricular activities

Submission of applications
Scholarship applications are submitted on-line at www.scholarships.at. After filling out the on-line application and its submission in the on-line application system, the scholarship applicants are asked to print out the application, sign it and send it together with the required documents to the following address:

Other relevant information
Preference will be given to candidates who have not received this scholarship yet (in one degreee of study).
  • Scholarship holder shall cover his/her travel costs.
  • The applicant shall have completed at least two semesters of study in Austria.
  • Scholarship applicants (students or PhD students) shall study or work at an Austrian state university or Fachhochschule within the field of science funded mostly by the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy of the Republic of Austria. Eligible are currently enrolled (minimum of 5 ECTS in the last term) scholars or scholars who are presently involved in research activities at their University.
  • Scholarship holders are not allowed to take up paid work in Slovakia while receiving a grant.

The selection of scholarship holders is made by the bilateral Steering Committee of the Programme within 1 month after the submission deadline.
